He completed a bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of Alabama and went on to pursue a career as a systems engineer and project manager. As an information technology professional, A.C. honed his problem-solving skills as he worked with clients to find creative solutions.  At the same time he completed his master's degree in business administration from Florida International University. With A. C. 's analytical background, it might be surprising that he would meet and marry a woman as artistic as Kem. She was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University where she studied interior design, landscaping and various art related subjects. From there, Kem began her successful career working on large commercial real estate transactions involving office buildings, shopping centers and restaurant properties. Kem earned her broker's license and later gained experience as a sales agent for a local home builder. Along the way, she reinforced her business and artistic skills by owning and operating a silk flower and plant business.
